I splurged but was disappointed. It's no better than any other hair mask. It has an over-powering fragrance which is a disadvantage. I think "It's A 10 Miracle Mask" is probably the best deep conditioner I've used and it costs $21. However, I do love MoroccanOil's Intense Curl Cream, I think it's the best product around for my kind of hair: I'm 60 years old, my hair is dry, thick, coarse, extremely curly, and dyed. Moroccanoil is indisputably the best. My hair is thick and course but Moroccanoil makes it look fabulous! The texture, flexibility, everything changes in your hair. I never thought I could be able to manage my hair so well throughout the styling process. I have very long, layered hair. This product and all Maroccanoil products are the best in the market. Period. This stuff is amazing! My hair has has SO much improvement since I have been using it. I bleach my hair a lot so it is pretty dry and the ends break off a lot but I have really noticed a huge difference since I have started using it. My hair is so soft and so much more healthy. Worth every penny even after FIRST use!! My hair now looks salon fresh everyday! I can even go an extra day without washing it now.. I have naturally big ringlet hair. However for the last 2 years I have used a flat iron on my hair numerous days a week, never wearing it curly. Once I tried to go back to curly... nothing. It would dry in straight, brittle sticks. I could not get my curl back for the life of me. I heard lack of moisture was the cause. So I got on here and bought the intense hydrating mask, the oil treatment, and this mousse. I started with the mask... left on for about 10 minutes, towel dried my hair a bit.. added some oil and a bunch of mousse. My hair curled right back up almost like I had never straightened it before! It's not QUITE as curly as it used to be, but this is my first use. I'm sure with repeated use it'll be right back to normal. Absolutely AMAZING. Smells great too. A must have product.
